Hello, my name is Alex Austin! I live and work in Portland, Oregon. After studying management and marketing in college, a variety of opportunities have allowed me to grow my skills in event planning, social media and marketing strategy, editorial management, customer support, and management.
Currently, I am the Community Manager at Station Seven, where I produce digital content for our small shop and create a fun, welcoming environment for our customers. I previously owned a small-batch candle company, Midland Candle Co, where I sold hand-poured soy candles to local shops in Portland and online. Whether planning an event or brainstorming a new strategy, I love helping businesses create unique and wonderful experiences for customers and workers alike.
